Services/Local SEO
Those top three map listings take the majority of the calls. We build physical therapy and chiropractic practices into them.
Get Your Free Growth Plan→Competition in local healthcare markets is fierce. Your practice has probably tried everything, direct mail, radio spots, pay-per-click campaigns, maybe even a previous SEO agency. But nothing drives ready-to-book patients quite like the Google Maps Pack.
When someone searches "chiropractor near me" or "physical therapy for sciatica near me," those top three map listings capture the overwhelming majority of clicks, phone calls, and ultimately booked evaluations. Everyone else gets left behind.
Traditional SEO and PPC fall short here. Organic rankings push you below the map. PPC puts you above it, but at a premium cost-per-click that eats into a margin already squeezed by insurance reimbursement. The Maps Pack sits right in the sweet spot, highly visible, highly trusted, and completely free per click.
Done right, a strong Maps Pack presence alone can transform your new patient volume. The problem is that most agencies don't know how to get you there. They treat Local SEO as an afterthought, a few citations here, an optimized listing there, and wonder why nothing moves.
We take a completely different approach. Local SEO is our specialty, and we've built a proven system specifically for physical therapy and chiropractic practices competing in the toughest local markets in the country.
The system
Every successful Local SEO campaign is built on four pillars. Ignore any one of them and your Maps Pack rankings will stall. Our proven process ensures nothing gets missed.
We optimize your presence across every platform that matters: Google Business Profile, Healthgrades, Vitals, Zocdoc, Yelp, and dozens more. Complete, consistent profiles are the price of admission for Maps Pack visibility.
Reviews are the biggest trust signal in local search. We build a systematic review engine and help you respond in ways that build credibility and lift your Maps Pack position.
Content that speaks to local patients: location pages, condition topics, and community news. This establishes your clinic as part of the neighborhood and strengthens local relevance signals.
Links from local businesses, directories, chambers of commerce, gyms, and community events signal to Google that your clinic is authoritative in your area.
Your Google Business Profile is the foundation, but it is not the only profile that matters. We optimize your presence across every platform: GBP, Healthgrades, Vitals, WebMD Care, Zocdoc, Yelp, Apple Business Connect, and dozens of other directories, to maximize visibility, consistency, and trust signals.
Patients read your reviews before they ever pick up the phone, and Google reads them too, volume, recency, and rating all feed the local algorithm. We build a systematic review engine that generates a steady flow of 5-star reviews and protects your reputation when a negative one lands.
Reviews run as a standalone program too, see Reviews & Reputation →Content that speaks directly to local patients strengthens your relevance signals and builds topical authority in your market. We create location-specific pages, condition content, and supporting articles that Google rewards with higher local rankings.
For organic and AI search beyond the map, see SEO + GEO →Links from local businesses, directories, and community organizations tell Google your clinic has strong ties to the area. Without local link authority, your Maps Pack rankings will plateau no matter how well-optimized your profile is.

Profile and listing work moves inside the first month. Grid position around your address usually starts shifting between weeks six and twelve. New evaluations traceable to local search normally show up in the second quarter, not the first.
Anybody who promises you page one in thirty days is either working on a term nobody searches or is about to take your money and hope. Ask them to write the timeline down and put something behind it. That single question ends most agency conversations quickly.
Ranking for your own name means people who already know you can find you. That is a phone book. It is not a marketing channel.
The patients worth having are the ones typing physical therapy near me or chiropractor open saturday, who do not know your name and never will unless you appear. Those are two entirely different searches with two entirely different values, and almost every practice we look at is winning the worthless one and losing the valuable one.
Most web developers treat local search as a checkbox: claim the listing, stuff some keywords, send a PDF. That is not the work.
The work is grid position around your actual address, category selection, proximity, review velocity, listing consistency across the platforms patients and insurers check, and pages that answer what somebody in your town is actually searching for. It is closer to bookkeeping than to art. It is tedious, it compounds, and it is why most practices never do it properly.
Yes, and you should be suspicious of anyone who says otherwise. Local SEO on a month to month basis is a promise nobody can keep, because the work does not produce anything for the first sixty days and then produces for years.
An agency willing to go month to month is either planning to do shallow work that shows early and dies, or has priced in your leaving. We would rather agree a term, tell you what happens in each phase of it, and be judged on whether that happened.
That is the most reasonable objection on this page, and the honest answer is that you cannot know from a sales conversation. Everybody says they are different.
So do not take our word for it. Ask us to show you your own grid before you pay anything: where you actually rank at points around your clinic, who owns the streets you are losing, and what it would take to take them back. We will map it and send it back with no call attached. If that picture does not persuade you, no paragraph on a website should.
If your practice is in the DC metro, this is what we already know about your market before we start.
Genuinely, yes. None of it is secret. If you have somebody on staff who will own it every week for a year, the guides on this site are enough to run most of it yourself, and the seven-phase plan we published for a practice starting from zero is the whole method written down.
The question is not whether it can be done in house. It is what an hour of your time is worth and what else it could be doing. Most owners who try it get eight weeks in, get busy treating patients, and the work stops. Stopping is worse than never starting, because the ground you gained goes back to whoever kept going.
The sequence differs by discipline: here is how it runs for a physical therapy practice and how it differs for a chiropractic clinic.
Question that is not here? Ask it on a call and we will answer it straight, including when the answer is that you should not buy this from us.
